hi, I put in another hdd in my htpc and installed windows 10. Then I installed the latest plex server. it now sees 3 plex servers of the same name which is the PC name that i’m using. two of the servers are offline and one is online. does anyone know how to delete the other two that are offline?
Go to your settings in the webui, click on “authenticated devices” and filter the list to just Servers. You can delete the offline servers by clicking on the X.
I agree that this is not terribly intuitive.
I deleted a few and now there are two left. they are both exactly the same. how do I know which is the good one and which is the bad one?
Just wait another few more days. One of them will eventually become “older”.
Another way would be to rename your current “good” server.
