Deleting one version of a multi-version movie removes movie from database

Hello,

Every movie i have in 2160p also exists in 1080p, in different folders (4K Movies & Movies).
Recently, i have decided to only keep the best version to free up drive space.
When i delete a movie folder in my Movie directory, Plex deletes the movie from my collection, even though i still have the UHD version…
Isn’t that a bug? What i do to solve that is i move the UHD version to a different folder where Plex does not scan data and move it back to the 4K Movies folder so Plex redetects it as new content… Not a very practical thing to do. What did i do wrong?
