Desktop App Always Downloading Music

Server Version#: Version 1.41.3.9314
Player Version#: Version 1.106.0.276-fe8d1d20

Hoping I can get some help with this thing that’s been driving me nuts.
Plex and Plexamp players work great on all my computers and mobile devices except for one computer.
A while ago, I stupidly asked plex desktop to download my entire music library on that computer. I thought I stopped it, but apparently not. Every time I use plex desktop on that computer, it downloads music, which fills up my computer’s HD and makes the plex desktop app crash.

I’ve tried deleting caches and looking around the internet but I still haven’t found a solution.

How do I force kill downloads? I’m even willing to disable the ability to download music on that computer since it’s connected directly to my unraid server via 10gbps.

The Downloads section should list the Download Items (download jobs). There you should also be able to delete any completed/ongoing/pending download jobs.

So I go to the download tab on the left and the app just hangs and tells me to go to the forums

Client logs might show what’s going on.

Edit:
Can you do a full uninstall of the client, delete the client app data directory and er-install the app to confirm if this
(a) resolves the stale download
(b) the error message

→ see https://support.plex.tv/articles/windows-and-macos-intro-installation/ for how to uninstall the app incl the client app data.

That did it! Thank you so much!
