My plex server runs on a windows 10 desktop. I can use it to serve media to my TCL smart TV. I wanted to be able to watch, but edit program descriptions on my laptop while watching on the smart TV. When I try to open the server in a tab in a browser, the server is shown as unavailable today.
I had been able to access the server with my TV and laptop together before with no issue.
Any ideas what has gone wrong and how to fix it.
I do have both logged into my plex account by the way, and are (or should be to my understanding) on the same local network.
Try going to :: http://app.plex.tv
Login to the account your running the server off of, NOTE /// laptop need to be on the same network. You should be able to edit and watch movies at the same time.
Same network, and logged onto both today. Now I get an indirect connection on the laptop to the desktop server.
