As title says, I noticed high CPU usage while not streaming and couldn’t see any operations in the status page on the local web UI. Going to app.plex.tv showed the server was detecting credits for films. Please can this be added to the status on local UI.
Use the hosted web app.
The local web app is several versions behind the hosted one and is only intended to be used for the initial claiming of the server or in the case of an internet outage. Don’t expect new features to be supported by it.
Several versions behind is putting it lightly it’s over 6 months behind at this point. 
Even if it’s only meant to be used to claim or still be functional in the event of an outage (which by self hosting for me is not the case it’s the main way I mange & curate my library) that is ALOT of bug fixes and quality of life features that’s being held back for no reason.
Just released Plex server beta ups the local web to a very recent version.
