Development of Plexamp on Raspberry Pi?

I’ve been using the Plexamp for a while now and find it a great Musicplayer.
I mostly use it on my phone and stream to a Chromecast Audio which is connected to my hifi installation.
I would really like to replace the Chromecast Audio for a headless Raspberri Pi with a Hifiberry DAC. I have got Plexamp working on a raspberry Pi with hifiberryOS after a bit of tinkering ( see manual here ), but unfortately all other services on the HifiberryOS stopped working, probably because of the older Node.js version. So I am not able to use the internet Radio stations option (from the HifiberryOS) anymore. So still need the chromecast Audio for this.

Will the plexamp for Rasperry Pi be updated in the near future (with the latest node.js)
So other developers can implement plexamp better?

we’d like to, but i don’t know about near future :sweat_smile: definitely on the list, though.
