Dialogue Audio not playing on Plex Web unless set to convert (on some videos)

When using PlexWeb on an updated Windows10 desktop with updated Chrome I can hear the background sound but not the audio if played at original quality, if I set it to convert automatically it seems to resolve the issue. Audio is listed as Unknown AAC 5.1. This is the same audio on other videos that play fine.

Am I missing a codec or is there a way to set all videos to convert when playing on Plex Web. Ideally I would like to not convert as that just takes extra processing but just trying to understand the root cause.

Configure your sound interface settings in Windows. You need to set the speaker configuration to Stereo, instead of 5.1
