I would like neither of those to happen, at least as any sort of default. In my setup By Folder is absolutely useless.
I personally don’t think it would be a popular update to make by folder the default view. I never use it, I use unwatched and on deck the most, followed by all.
I think what needs to happen is for these settings to be options that can be changed and then saved to the atvsettings.cfg.

Having this as an option would be totally acceptable to me. Realize this isn't for every one but it works in this camp especially for Mommy and the kids.
