When playing a video with Plex for Windows Version 2, I was disappointed to see a black screen with no frames displayed.
I was very surprised when, using an older PC with Plex for Windows Version 1, the same video was perfectly compatible and displayed correctly.
Since I don’t have sufficient knowledge or experience with Plex for Windows, I’m turning to the forum to learn:
Do the codecs used for playback depend on the version of Plex for Windows or the Windows environment it’s running on?
With your help, I’d like to be able to play that video on Plex for Windows Version 2 as well.
