Hey guys, I’ve had my Plex server for almost 3 years now and this is the first time I’ve ever run into this issue. When I go to playback some of my files on my Shield TV (also on browser) the direct play function just completely fails and it defaults straight to transcoding, to which my qnap is not powerful enough to transcode these files. This is extremely frustrating because I can’t seem to force it to direct play. The codecs used in the files don’t seem to be out of the ordinary either so I’m not sure why it would need to convert any of these. If anyone has a solution for this that would be amazing.
