I’m neither happy with the newer menu layout nor the forced inclusion of Crackle streaming. This confuses my parents, who are not tech savvy. They go into Plex to see things like home movies of their grandchildren and can’t find my server because they don’t know to drill down into the menus or set up their preferences on their dash. Then they can get lost in the movies and TV shows from Crackle streaming. I need to have more control over their experience remotely to make things easier for them.
Log in to their Plex user account,
then go to https://app.plex.tv/desktop#!/settings/online-media-sources
and disable which media sources you don’t want.
