Please add the option to Disable Direct Stream and Direct Play to the Android TV Plex app. I believe this was there, and it’s there in all the other versions of the player app I use. Without the feature to Disable Direct Stream, the Android TV player app is useless for me.
100% agreement. I used to be able to switch direct stream / play and the accompanying options. Now because of this Plex has become useless to me and I am unable to stream to my Chromecast. Plex is now the only app that I cannot get any sound…
I should note that this also happens when casting from my Windows 10 PC. The movies play fine on the PC via plex player
I’ve been a long long supporter of Plex but this has been the goofiest change ever. Used to be able to tweak the setting to get audio to play correctly.
Came here for this. I can configure this on every single device I have except my fire sticks. It is so annoy.
