Yes, I’m a stickler when it comes to unnecessary services running in the background of my server. That’s why I’d like to disable all those services and plug-ins that Plex is running in the background which are of no use to me.
For example, Plex is constantly running plug-ins for music-related tasks even though my test library is completely empty and I don’t plan on adding any music either.
Is there a way to completely disable unwanted features and thus prevent those service from running in the background?
Why do those service have to constantly run in the background anyway? Should the only be running when Plex is performing scheduled maintenance task and otherwise be idle?
