I am using a growing amount of time in removing all kind of external access and offers on my private plex server.
Why do you it?
What are your planned future Plex regarding adds and sales of our private data?

Whilst I don’t use any of those services myself, It really only takes a minute to navigate to the “online media sources” and deselect everything. I have had to pop back once when something new was put in.
I agree the default should be “off” but that is never going to happen as this is part of their business model.
Trek, I agree with you. Every time I set up my plex media server for a new family member, they see me immediately take 10+ minutes to disable 90% of the stuff plex has developed in the last 5 years. I don’t need live TV, I don’t need auto theme music, etc. Hell, I don’t even need the home tab, because it sucks. And the recommended tab? Recommends stuff I either watched 6 months ago (and is marked as played) or stuff that is 6 months in the future.

That’s what I need, plex.
I should not use a minute on doing that.
It should be deselected from the start!
Not wasting my time I payed for not using!
New features should be hi-lighted, but not enabled.
