I have all online sources disabled, but do have access to a few other servers besides my own. However, 99.9% of the time I just want to watch from my server and I notice that it takes time for Plex to search the other servers before giving me a server to watch from.
Is there a way to just disable it checking other servers when I click on a title I want to watch?
If you are going to a universal details page it is not possible to remove individual servers fro the “Watch from these locations”
You can choose not to search other servers in search results from the menu on right side of search field
In the web app if you have it on your server ( which should show under the result), then clicking on the result it should go direct to your servers detail page without the “watch from these locations.” In TV apps it should go to a secondary screen if avail on more than one server to choose from.
I guess I was starting from my personal Watchlist. There should be an option to exclude servers (except my own) - especially since I already have all other sources excluded.
For my use, the whole point of my Watchlist is to remind me of movies that my wife and I want to watch at some point that I have on my server.
ah ok I understand. There is not a way to do that. I’ll pass it along to but I can’t make any promises. I suggest making a request in feature suggestion category. I can move this topic there if you like.
Don’t bother moving to the feature suggestion category…I won’t even go into how stupid it is that users are only allowed 5 votes (just another frustration of mine with Plex).
