DLNA activity doesn't register on Dashboard

I am playing content through Plex’s DLNA service. When I look at the Dashboard on the website, it says nothing is playing. Interesting bug.

Have you enabled Settings > [Server Name] > DLNA > DLNA server timeline reporting?

Yes, that option has been enabled for a long time.

I noticed that on the client-side, it knows that it isn’t “authenticated” with Plex’s DLNA server. It’s all on the same in-house network. I don’t think Plex should care whether playback is occurring from an authenticated or an unauthenticated DLNA client, or from a non-DLNA client or even internal versus external. If Plex is streaming something out, it should be self-aware of it and be able to report the total sum of clients of all shapes and sizes. No?
