Content appears to be playing despite no one actually playing the content.
See the screenshot. The only thing I watched was Doctor Strange.
I’ve noticed this behavior for a while, originally I thought it was my kids watching content on my profile. Tonight I realized that it wasn’t. Has anyone ever experienced this?
It is most likely a generic DLNA compatible media player which is apparently building some kind of thumbnail list for itself. It does so by “playing” each of the files for a very short while, in order to create a screenshot from somewhere in the middle of the video.
Disable the DLNA server in Plex and monitor if the behaviour persists.

Be advised that you shouldn’t enable DLNA at all, if you aim to control what your kids are able to watch from your server. Because DLNA doesn’t know user authentication at all. Every DLNA player on your local network will be able to see/play all media on your server.
