DLNA play is not updating the play count

When I play my music through DLNA, the play counter is not triggered.

Therefore, dynamic Playlists are not updated.

Is this option even implemented in the DLNA client?

No. When using DLNA, we lose track of playback status. If you notice, you cannot resume playback either when using DLNA. So neither play counts or progress gets updated.
