When I download videos from while on the same network using DLNA, previously videos would be marked as watched relative to the percentage downloaded. However recently this is not the case and I have to manually go mark all of the episodes watched, which is fairly annoying.
Settings - Server - DLNA - ‘Show Advanced’ - “DLNA server timeline reporting” <-- Enable
Thanks but it appears to already be enabled, just not functioning.
It will probably only work if you ‘play’ the movie per DLNA.
Downloading is a different thing and has nothing to do with DLNA.
In windows I added the DLNA server as a network location. This lists all the files available and will open them with my local media player. This worked prior to the latest update.
See Plex not marking viewed items as watched anymore and related posts.
Looks like this issue is fixed in latest releaseed version 1.14.1.5488.
Thanks for letting me know, I’ll update it now then.
