Do I need to upgrade my PC?

Is it necessary for me to upgrade any portions of my PC? I often hear my PC running high when watching media, even when not FF or Rewinding. I watch on a Roku stick.

Is this because of Transcoding? Plex working on video preview thumbnails?

I have 309 GB remaining of 930 GB in my dedicated Plex drive. Below are more system/Plex info stats. Please let me know if add’l info is needed. Thank you

It’s most likely based on transcoding. Your CPU should be able to handle the transcoding of a 1080p file – though that’ll be some heavy lifting for the machine.
