Do not find server!

I have used the Plex a long time ago and it works without problems. Today I decided to use it again and I have already become premium, but to my surprise, Plex does not find my server even though it is embedded in the PC where the library is. I’ve done everything I could, I saw the guidelines and nothing solved, I’d like to resolve.

I have the very same problem. Have tried reinstalling several times, even different versions, no luck…HELP!

I have the same issue as well. After years of no issues with previous format on my Roku once the update went through I lost connection with my server. On my computer the Plex app says it can’t find server even though I can see it in my devices but it shows up as “not connected”. I went through all the debugging steps and restarted my computer several times with no success. What happened!!

I’ve been having trouble with Plex for months. It started buffering when playing movies, even on server PC (which is current and fast).
Yesterday I added movies to the folder, but couldn’t get it to update the library.

Uninstalled/Reinstalled… but new version couldn’t find the server (even though it is the server lol)
Went through their troubleshooting, but still couldn’t find the server.

I guess this post is my good bye letter to Plex… I believe they have become a bloated piece of cloudbased crap, and I’m moving on. If anyone else is stuck not finding the server… I Revo’d Plex off the PC, and installed Emby which is working so far.

I’m having this problem for the first time as well. I found a way to add the server to my account, but it still doens’t show up. I’ve logged out, restarted the computer, but still nothing. It’s so strange because my desktop is the server I use to house all of my movies, TV shows, and music. It’s even more strange that I can stream them from my iPhone. Seriously strange.

Don’t use Microsoft Edge.

Log out the web browser on your server machine from your plex account.
web_sign_out

After clicking on ‘Sign In’ again, don’t use ‘Continue with Google’
but ‘…with Email’

Thanks for the info. I tired this, but it didn’t work. It’s also not letting me authorize my server. Would you happen to know why it would do that?
