Do podcasts stream only?

I know plexamp does not do syncing so I assume podcasts only stream? Or do they get cached on the device when added to queue.

Can that be an option? To cache episodes when added to the queue for offline playback?

They should be precached like anything else, and eventually we’ll add some support for downloading them.

So items in the queue should still play if on plane or subway with no service? How many items get prefetched?
