Do Rating Restrictions Apply to Shared Content

Ok, so here is me situation. I have a plex server installed on my own computer. I would like to share my movies with my sister (who has small children). I know I can just share the kid friendly stuff, but I would like to share everything. If she gets the paid version and sets up separate users for herself and for the kids, will the parental controls only apply to content of her own or will it also apply to the content I shared with her? I would hope that it would also apply to any content that is shared with her, but I don’t really see that it is clearly stated anywhere.

Thanks,
Nick

Rating restrictions always apply to a user.
If you create separate users for your sister and her children, then you can apply different restrictions to them.
(Without a Plex Pass you can only share a different set of libraries.)

But: this solution is only viable if the children use a different device to watch Plex than her mother. Because changing a user account without Plex Home’s ‘Fast User Switching’ (which itself requires Plex Pass) on a device is very tedious and will get annoying when doing it regularly.
