Does any player other than the web player have a real "grid guide" for Live TV?

Server Version#: Version 1.13.9.5439
Player Version#: PMP 2.17.0.905-921db5e4, Android 7.6.2.7169, Web Version 3.73.1

I saw the grid guide announcement earlier this year, and was really excited to see it. It works great in the web client. The announcement mentions “We’re bringing it to other platforms too.” Has it actually come to any other players?

I’ve seen mentions of a “grid guide” on other players, but they don’t match what I see on the web player. In the web player you see a list of channels down one axis and times across the other:

On the Plex Media Player beta the “grid guide” is a grid of shows, but no sign of channel numbers or times:

Plex on the Android player looks similar to the PMP, a grid of show icons but no times or channel numbers:

Is the web player the only player with a real grid guide with times and channel numbers? If it is also on these other players, how do I unlock it? Thanks for any help!

It’s available on the following three platforms:

  • Plex Web App
  • Apple TV
  • Android TV

Thanks for that answer! I guess there’s no prognosis on when it might show up for any other platform?

Does Android TV mean Amazon Firestick?

Correct though I think I’ve read that the Roku beta might have it…

Dunno, I’m not familiar with those platforms.

Yes, I can see it on my Fire TV devices

I just upgraded my Roku Plex channel to 6.1.1 and still no Grid Channel Guide… :frowning:

I’m really sorry this feature is missing from PMP. My Tivo went on the fritz a few weeks ago and I tried to use live TV on PMP and it is close to unusable w/o some way to browse by channel at least. I am actually looking at Emby as an alternative to Plex for this reason.
