I’ve synced movies from my friends server to my iPhone. Now I want to move them to my plex server and can’t figure out how? Has anyone tried this and know how it’s done.
Server - Server syncing, directly or through a device isn’t supported. You’d have to get the file directly from that friend.
So I can have my server sync from his server?

You can not sync from Server -> Server. You can not import sync’d content into your PMS server.

To put it differently, what you’re asking for is direct file sharing which gets into the slippery slope of piracy. Needless to say, Plex would like to remain in business, so that feature doesn’t exist.
