I have recently updated to Rasplex v0.5.1 on my RaspberryPi b. I moved to this latest release because I read that the Plex Home managed users feature is now supported. I have some personal libraries that I don't particularly want to publish on the pi because the television it is attached to is used by the whole flat.
I have set up a managed user with access to limited libraries. When I log into the web client on a given computer, I can log into this 'pi' user and see only the libraries I have specified. Left image is logged in under the master account, right image is the managed account (i think it quotes my master user gheadley27 as the server because the pi user sits underneath it):
Indeed. That is what my image is seeking to show. The TV image of user 'pi' with only search repeating is after I have switched user to pi from the master account.
I presume you mean "wait for network before starting XBMC' in system settings? I've tried that and it hasn't changed anything. Is no one else having this problem? Perhaps I have a bad install and I should reflash the card with a fresh install...
Update: I reformatted my SD and reinstalled a fresh v0.5.1 and this has made no change. Still seeing same behaviour as above.
A little more info about my network set up. The actual server is a virtual machine that hides behind a second virtual machine that acts as bastion. This bastion host port forwards 32400 traffic to the Plex server that sits behind it. As a result, I manually specify the bastion host as the server IP inside RasPlex. I don't see any inherent reason why manually specifying the server should limit my ability to switch users, but you guys might have different ideas. Cheers.

I would recommend that you not specify any specific IP address at all, since the IP address you use is not 'well known' at all levels of your network due to the extra NAT level of your setup. In your case I would specify only the Plex account name and password in the RasPlex configuration, and leave it up to myPlex to resolve the issue. That's what I do, and it works fine for me, though my own LAN setup is admittedly very different from yours.
After some network reconfigurations, I did as you suggested and killed the manual specification in favour of going directly through MyPlex. Things are up and running now. Cheers dlanor!
