Hey, as the title says, does RasPLEX use the new interface or the old one?

The old one.
Yuck. Any word on when that will change?

Do you mean like this? If so, it’s coming! Sometime!
You can change Rasplex’s skin if you like. Download one from the skins section.
Any updates on this?
No updates, if you want that style of interface now try Plex Media Player.

@NedtheNerd please don’t change it, at least not anytime soon. The current one is much easier to navigate, looks nicer, performs better, and has a much greater feature set. Granted, PMP is still in beta, but the underlying design is flawed in that it makes accessing the content harder than the current existing solution. What I would like to know though is if there are any plans/attempts to convert PHT to 1080p/4K resolutions. As I understand it, the issue is only to do with the actual graphics? If so, could the images be (theoretically) redone in the SVG format and (theoretically) scale endlessly?
@NedtheNerd - I like the PMP interface (running the latest embedded version on my pi) but find it sooo much slower compared to the current Rasplex interface. If rasplex changes to this will it slow it down as well?
Has anyone else compared the speed of the two or am I the only one who has noticed.
Not intending to change the default skin in the near future, next version will support skin downloads and activation within Rasplex rather than having to download and install manually.
You never know, someone may look at creating a PiMP skin (sorry, couldn’t resist that) :))
