Does the NEW Plex Movie agent not allow posters from other agents?

I just saw the “Upgrade Matching” option and looked at the NEW Plex Movie agent. I see there are no options for it at all. Clicking the cog just gives me an empty popup. I like to use the Minimalist Posters for example. If I switch to the NEW Plex movie agent how to I make those my preference. In the legacy agent I just put it at the top or even if its not at the top I would like to still have the option of selecting a differnt poster for a movie. I created a test library using the NEW Plex Movie and the movies only had one poster.

The new music and movie agents don’t have settings there anymore, all of the settings live in the library advanced settings. The option to view it in the agent settings screen will be removed in a future web client update.

The new agent has multiple sources for posters, editing the item and selecting Poster will show all the available options.

Thanks. So no custom agent options such as the Minimalist Movie Posters agent or The Poster DB? Is there a list somewhere of where the posters are pulled from?

No there is no option currently for this.

We’re currently showing poster and art options from TMDB, TVDB, IMDB and fanart.tv. There have been requests for us to add The Poster DB as a source too, we’ll look into adding more going forward and making it more customisable in the settings.

Nearly all of my Movie Poster artwork comes from the jpg image in the movie’s folder.
If I upgrade my collection using the new Plex Movie Agent, will it change existing poster artwork? Or will it just clean up the actor databases, descriptions, etc?

No if you have local posters then you should only enable the option ‘Use local assets’ in the Advanced tab from the new library you are creating

Correct, though this option is enabled by default.

Thanks @drzoidberg33, I think a preference list would definitely be a plus. For example, if I wanted to only use posters from fanart.tv for all my movies how can I acheive that? I cant set that and so it cant be done automatically on a metadata refresh meaning I would have to go into each of the movies and use the poster I want which is a very manual process. Right now with the legacy one I have a preference set and I can see that when a poster exists in that preference it is used, if not it will get its poster from the next preference…
