Doesn't optimise some 1080p files, and then cant play them

Problem exists with earlier versions as well.
Windows 11 fully up to date.

I optimise for Mobile. Depending on coding of existing files, it sometimes leaves them at 1080p, and then can’t stream them - error messages, just stops streaming, etc.
If I set Optimise to Custom - 4Mmps 720p, it still doesn’t convert optimise them.

I also don’t understand why it struggles with 1080p anyway. My link speed on both server and player is 25Mbps up and down. Ping is 5ms.

Did you disable video transcoding in the settings?

Yes I have.

Optimizing means “transcoding” in most cases. If you disable that, you can’t optimize.

The setting says “Disable video stream transcoding.” Optimising is something you do when you add new files. Most files do get optimised, and converted to 720p AVC video. It is just those that are the correct formats for everything, except for being 1080p that don’t.
