Doesn't play on Pixel 7 when lower resolution selected

Player Version#: 10.19.4.1255

Plex server on a Synology DS1019+ When playing a video on my Pixel 7, if I were to select any lower resolution, say 480p, it will not play. No errors, just a black screen. You still have to access to all of the player controls, just nothing is playing. Works fine on my laptop Web interface and iPhone 7+

Is this something specific to Pixel 7? Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
