Double entries in DVR schedule

Is anyone else seeing double entries at times in the DVR schedule? I have noticed it for a while and across several releases as well as platforms (I see it on Linux and Mac installs).

What PMS version do you have installed?

1.18.0.1944 but it’s been happening in the last several updates.

Does it help to delete a scheduled recording and re-schedule it?

No, I tried that once. Also it has happened over two different servers. I have noticed that I can refresh the schedule data and it will resolve for a while but comes back after a few days.

One other tidbit. It won’t actually record the same show twice.

Windows version 1.17 reverted from first 1.18 beta (due to DVR stutter issue) but did not restore dbs. I have similar issue with Jeopardy. Schedules at normal time and at 1am. When I go into modify schedule and try to set record time of day it shows Any and 1:00 am. But not actual time of 7:00pm.

Do you only see this in the web app, or on other devices (iOS / Android) too?

I just checked. It’s only on the web app.

I just scheduled some Law & Order recordings to try this out, and I’m not seeing the same behavior with my DVR setup.

@jridder Can you PM me the response to the /media/subscriptions/scheduled request.

  1. Visit the web app at https://app.plex.tv/desktop, and navigate to your DVR Schedule screen.
  2. Bring up the Chrome Developer Tools.

  1. Open the Network tab, enable Filters, and filter by the string scheduled.

  1. Refresh the page.
  2. Right-click the /media/subscriptions/scheduled request and copy its response body.

Once I can view the response body, I’ll be able to tell whether the duplicated data is being returned by the server.

We’ve identified the cause of the issue and a fix is in the pipeline. Apologies for the inconvenience here. We’ll make an announcement in the Plex Web releases thread for confirmation when this fix goes live.
