For the past two weeks, Plex DVR has been recording both the original airing and the repeat airing of both The Daily Show (11:00 PM EDT and 1:40 AM EDT) and The Opposition (11:30 PM EDT and 2:10 AM EDT)
As you can see in the recording schedule, only the original airing should be recorded. But for the past two weeks, airings a few hours later are also getting recorded.

What is unusual, it is just these two shows that are recording twice. All other shows are recording just once, as expected.
Since the issue initially happened, I have upgraded to Version 1.13.4.5251.
After a two week break, “The Daily Show” is back. The double recording issue did not happen on Monday night, but did happen on Tuesday and Wednesday night.

I am definitely having this bug also but it only just started for me in the past week–at the same time I started having “transcoder error–close player” messages. My configuration was working just fine (no issues at all) for about a month or 6 weeks (since just after Memorial Day weekend) until this past week. Now I can’t even play Live TV directly from the guide. When I try to record to watch later, I get two recordings and they also fail during playback. I’m getting pissed off at my Lifetime PLEX pass.
Oh and I have the current server PLEX 1.13.4.5271
This issue appears to have been resolved in the latest release.
I upgraded to Version 1.13.5.5291 earlier this week and the issue has not reoccurred since.

This issue appears to have NOT been resolved in the latest release. The issue occurred twice this week, where a new episode of “The Daily Show” was recorded twice: Once at its original airing time, and again a few hours later (August 14/15 & August 16/17).
