If image upload worked you can see. the repeated program at 8:00pm across all channels. Rebuilding schedule does not resolve. Optimize and Clean Bundles does not effect it. Deleting the DVR and adding back does not resolve. Anyone else have something simular???
Yes have exactly the same problem in the UK, but the time that it happens for me is when programs cross over some sort of threshold between 12.30am - 1:00am. As with you, have tried a few things to resolve this and nothing seems to work. Is this some sort of problem with how plex is trying to display the schedule (rather than the schedule data itself?)
If I set the first item that is repeated to record, everything that appears after that changed to ‘unknown airing’ for 24 hours in the guide (see below - after setting the old man and the gun to record on film4):
This is really beginning to make Live TV and DVR unusable for me, so would be great if it can be resolved.
Server Version: 1.26.0.5715
Player Version: Happens with Windows App (version 1.43.4.2971-aa2133cc) and with Web Browser access
Tuner: HDHomeRun Connect Duo
Guide/Lineup name: Local Broadcast Listings (UK - postcode set as WV3… EPG is the default one from Plex after setting postcode)
I should also say - I have my plex server setup on a synology NAS
I agree it is with Plex displaying the schedule since the recording works fine.
Hopefully they monitor the post and will look into the problem. It is very confusing to figure out in when things are actully showing later in the evening. I find i’m checking plex less because of it.
Chiming in to say I have the exact same issue, and it seems to be messing with DVR recordings.

I don’t think I’m going crazy, but before you confirmed it, you suggested trying the latest beta release. Still seeing the same repeat at 20:00 EST with server version 1.26.1.5772
I can provide some more observations about the bug/issue. So for me what ever is at 7:30pm repeats. I did not notice previously, but also there are some other issues.
The channels names start dropping off beginning when 5:30pm is on the far right of the screen. More drop each half hour.
Then I get the duplication of the show that is on at 7:30, 30 min, 1hr, 15mins. It does not matter how long it duplicates and shifts everything else after that off.
So the bug seems to be mainly with the formatting and display of the scheudle, not the information. Recording “Seem” to work fine, but I’m not watching everything I record to check them all.
Hope this detail helps. This is very annoying to me since I use this schedule for recording and watching nightly.
Thanks
Robert
Whats interesting to me is that when I first filed this (you can see the image), it was just duplicating the shows. They must have tried some fix, because when you see the images from my latest posting, more issues with the formatting are showing. Now the non-alignment, missing channels, etc. I had upgraded to the beta as recommended in one of the message and turned beta off (Back on public updates). I"m now on Version 1.26.1.5798.
Well there has been some progress. The screen format, time alignments, and channel labels are good, but the duplicate show still exists.
You can see the 7:00 or 7:30 show repeats at 8:00pm still. The show version SXXEXX indicates it and the movie that should show at 8:00pm is at 8:30pm.
Hi Otto - hope you are well and things are going OK
Just wanted to add my thanks for submitting this as a bug.
As its been a couple of months now since this was first reported, I was wondering whether it would be possible to provide any update relating to this?
Understand that might be difficult to do (so no worries if not clear when it will get looked at yet), but would be great if you can and very much appreciated.
I’ve been reporting what seems to be the same bug for the last 5 weeks or so in this topic:
Skim down the topic thread. Initially, I thought the bug was evident 24 hours, but later could see it was always shows airing during the 4:30pm – 5:00pm slot that were duplicated
Plexian sa2000 has posted seeing a PMS bug for shows ending at midnight UTC. The Guide display bug also repeats shows scheduled to continue airing at 00:00 UTC. I live in the Seattle area, with the local daylight savings time being UTC -0700, so shows that are scheduled to end or continue at 5:00pm PDT [00:00 UTC] are all duplicated. Subsequent shows are then displayed in the wrong time slot column.
sa2000 reported that a fix might be available yesterday (22 July 2022), but the PMS for Mac version 1.28.0.5998-adb79ff3b (released yesterday July 22, 2022) did not fix the bug.
Hiya - not fixed for me unfortunately. If the scheduling on a channel has a programme that neatly finishes at 1am for the UK (I know this time would be different for other time zones), then you don’t see a duplicate programme. If a programme finishes between 12.30am-1am, then the duplicates still exist.
See the screenshot below. BBC2 has the golf finishing at 1am and there is no duplication (Quest also shows no duplication as programme finishes at exactly 1am). All other channels in the screenshot don’t have thier programmes finishing at 1am and duplicates are present.
Hopefully this can still be worked on as its quite a frustrating bug when you are trying to setup recordings, which makes it difficult to use. If any of the devs can post back here when they think its resolved, would be happy to test from my end.
