I don’t have the issue in the other thread. It seems like two different things to me.

From what I can see if you have external VTT subs enabled it shows the subtitles twice as described in this topic. if you have them disabled it still shows them as described in other topic. From what I was told about VTT they are intended/designed as internal subs only which is why the Apple TV app…
