As of right now we can download episodes but not whole seasons.
The solution the devs most likely see is sync... but the problem with that is you can't sync to desktop computers.
Being able to download a whole season of a show would be useful imo.... or if you enabled syncing for PHT that would work too..
Sync to Desktop Client is discussed here, and downloaded the complete season on e.g. Tablet can be done, go to the season you want click download/sync, select all media, no limit, your quality and save. PMS will now sync all you episodes of the season to your device.

Sync and download are seperate options. On Plex.tv/web you can download directly through the browser...
You can't sync to a browser.
