I recently upgraded to plex pass to enable the download feature so my father could watch while hes in the hospital.
Ive ensured that my permissions are enabled on the media server however i still am unable to download.
Any advice on how to fix?

This feature is only supported on iOS, Android mobile, and the standalone “Plex for Windows/Mac/Linux” player app.
The downloading user account needs the Plex Pass.
they can be in a Plex Pass users Plex Home as well.
I havent been able to access the function on android app, windows app or even the browser interface on both android and windows.
The media server hasnt gotten back to me about what version its using. Im pretty sure its up to date though

Are you saying that you are trying to download from a foreign server? Its owner needs to grant you the privilege first.
