I have got Plex Pass to be able to download episodes to watch offline, but the feature is not available in my account. Tried two devices. My friend account with the same settings has the feature same device
What do I do now?
What media are you trying to download and in which apps?
Downloads will only work on your personal libraries, and shared libraries if the owner granted you permission to download.
You can’t download media from Plex‘s online media sources.
Thanks for your reply. I’m trying to download from shared server, literally the same server that me and my friend has access as well
I’m using regular Plex app for iOS. If I logged to his account I can see the download button from the same media, from my credentials the button is just not there
That just means that the server owner granted the “download” privilege to the account of your friend, but not to your own account.
Contact the server owner and ask for the “download” permission.
