With the original Plex for Android I would download a show and it would sync the 1080p AV1 version of the show, as that is what my phone supports and I have the 1080p versions already transcoded.
Now ANY AV1 video I try to sync, which is basicly my entire library, Plex forces a transcode to HEVC which I don’t want, firstly because its unnecesary and secondly because the time and space used are not acceptable.
This all worked fine until the new Plex updated on my phone. It seems AV1 support in the downloads is completely broken, or I’m unlucky and it has something to do with my device, regardless I am a lifetime member and this is a serious issue for me. Especially since I erased all migrated downloads to attempt to fix the issue but now im left without any Downloads.

Update: After checking Plex Dash and Tautulli even when I stream a show its being transcoded from AV1 to HEVC. This breaks Plex streaming to my phone since when on Cell or poor WiFi I need the compressed AV1 for any reasonable quality. PLEASE HELP.
