Downloads don't complete. ends in failure. Any help is greatly appreciated

I am unable to download any content, TV nor Movies, and they error out after downloading to my Samsung S2 SM-T813 tablet.

In order to debug the best I could, I.

a. reset the tablet
b. tried downloading to the local storage, and to an external sd card
c. tried using ‘original’ for the video quality, as well as a fixed value (720 high)

Attached are my logs. The problem download is “Peacemaker”.

I did some more testing, which involved two different phones, one older, one brand new, and Downloads doesn’t work for any of them.

It’s obvious Downloads is not functioning correctly. Time to find a replacement I guess.
