"Unable to queue download" error only on tablets

Server Version#:1.42.2.10156
Player Version#:2025.30.0
Server is official Plex docker.

I have 3 Samsung Galaxy tablets. When they are on version 2025.30.0, they are unable to download media, the client just throws an “Unable to queue download” error.

My Galaxy S24 has no problem on the same version. One of the tablets hasn’t been turned on in awhile and was on version 2025.23.0. this version worked fine. (I just turned auto updates off)

I was able to downgrade to

https://downloads.plex.tv/Kepler/kepler-arm64-v8a-googlePlay-10.28.0.3441-367a93b4.apk

Which has the old interface, but it’s also able to download on a tablet that was blocked on 2025.30.0

Looking through the logs, the download string gets an error 404, and it looks different than the string provided by the phone client.

Doing this from memory, but i think it bombed the download at 22:52pm 26-Nov-2025. The PC hosting the docker container crashed, so the logs might have rolled to .1

Plex Media Server Logs_2025-11-28_23-14-21.zip (4.0 MB)

I went back to 2025.28.0 (cause i knew I had loaded a movie on November 7th) and it appears to work fine.

So the change was either in .29 or .30

Thoughts?

Downloads were working fine for me with those versions and still working with 2025.31.0. Can you reproduce and provide the android app logs.

How do I get the android logs?

From the app, click on your avatar, go to settings, about, download logs (at the top).

I have the same problem with “Unable to queue download” and I was browsing through the log files.
I found something…
”[NanoDownloads] No external storage found”
Like.. “I don’t find any place to put your download”
Could this be something?

Thank you @me_mpking_com !!!

Downgrading to the version you linked to fixed my problem :beating_heart:
