I watched a download on the new app on break today and i watched it to the end and i just saw that it didn’t get marked as “watched” on my server.
I just tested another download and that didn’t sync my progress like 25% watched to my server.
The old app used to sync your watched state once you got internet again. This functionality seems to not be working properly.
It appears this is still to be added.

I didnt see anything about a downloaded indicator on the posters like the old app but I guess I’ll wait for that.

that would be fine if we were talking about something that is coming to mobile, it is here, and with no syncing of media playback between downloaded content and PMS, that is just unacceptable.
This is a core reason as to why I purchased a Plex Pass, sync > download to download new experience has been a total mess for as long as I’ve been a user.
Sadly no one appears to understand what MVP is, not syncing playback position or watched status is the very definition of a miss here. But hey, nothing new with Plex not appearing to care about core functionality, you know, like watching media.
