I played a video on my Android Plex app from the home tab and paused at a specific time. The video I played is also in my downloads tab and the playing progress has been synced successfully to my server. The issue that I have is that despite my phone being connected to the internet (as is my server), playing the video from the downloads tab resulted in it playing from the beginning instead of resuming from the position that was synced between my home tabs in “continue watching”. When selecting the video in the download tab and then pausing, however, the progress is being transmitted successfully to the server and to the continue watching section on my devices.
The issue seems to be that the playing position doesn’t get synced to the downloads tab when playing a video (that is also present in the downloads tab) from the “continue watching” section. The other way around, it works just fine.
I hope that I understandibly described my issue and that it can be sorted out / fixed accordingly!
