So i used to use PlexSync all the time and it was perfect for me as i used to sync my smart playlist that gathers unwatched episodes from a specific collection and as it was unwatched episodes once watched they used to refresh and delete both from playlist and sync.
Now its Plex Downloads… Ive never been able to get it to work downloading my smart playlist… always says error.
I can download individual episodes and shows using the setting next 10 unplaylyed etc but I would like it to work from my playlist.
Any suggestions or does this just not work anymore like it used to
Hey, yes so it adds the playlist to the download list bit doesn’t download anything…
Ok so i just tried creating a playlist wothout collections and it seemed to of started to work.
Which is annoying… so its true not as good as sync when it comes to that then…
Shame so now ill have to manually add all my shows to a playlist.
Is there any vision to support this? By including Collections? If it was possible on Sync cant see why wouldnt be possible on downloads, get ya top techies on it!
Shame for the outcome, wished sync would still available.
Just to confirm about collections will it download if the show is in a collection (so ill have to remove all collections)
Or just wont download if its being pulled to a playlist because its using the collection as the criteria.
Ok so it seems to work as I would like to if its done by “Label” unless this will be unsupported too soon.
Looks like my task the weekend is to remove all collections and change them to Labels… oh joy…
Your videos can stay in collections, you just can’t use that as a criteria to Download. This is a limitation we expected with Downloads and are evaluating adding support in the future. It’s not a trivial change.
