I have installed dreamplex on my dreambox 800 se and it works fine.
The only thing is the device doesn’t read subtitles. Its strange because I have also installed the plex client in my ipad and PSP3 and the subtitles are ok.
On the DM800 SE they don’t work ! Can anybody help me?
The dreamplex version client is 1.03

I have the same request. After 1,5 years is it still in developement? ;)
With the audio button the audio menu shows up. Why can't it also be so simple with the subtitle button?

subtitles are working a kind of but enigma has a very bad handling.
what is working.
you can press the txt button on your remote and set the subtitles to be used like in the webinterface. after that they are working as supposed when you use transcoded mode.
if you want to have subtitles without transcoded mode you have to use direct local. go to settings and enable and configure it. there are also some options for subtitles that should be turned on.
after this dreamplex shows subtitles as well.
but... and this is the big problem. all boxes uses the old gstreamer 0.10 which is very old. not all types can be displayed. srt is working very good. always test if you see the subtitles with your local mediaplayer. if yes dreamplex should see play them as well.
and there is also a difference between embedded and local subtitles. not easy at all. sorry. but i am also limited to the functions of the box itself.
