Dropbox Cloud Sync

OS: Windows 10 x64 enterprise
PMS: Version 1.3.3.3148
Browser: Chrome Version 55.0.2883.87 m

I use the cloud sync functionality with Dropbox. I have been using it for years and no issues. Dropbox has plenty of available space.

I have one library, called Bob’s Tv Shows

Starting 2 days ago, when I access Bob’s TV shows, via the cloud sync, I can see all of the tv shows. If I click on the show, I see the season I have uploaded (screen shot 1). When I click on the season, nothing is there (screen shot 2). This is the same thing for every show.

I can see and play locally, ie not from the cloud sync folder.

I have tested a Roku 3, Android tablet, and Android Phone. All show the tv shows, but nothing inside once I go into it. I have about 15 shows and a season in each.

When I go into my sync settings I can see the library is synced (screen shot 3).
Here are my cloud sync settings. (screen shot 4).

My guess is that if I delete everything, and resync, this will correct my issue. The problem is that at 5mbps upload speed, this will take forever =(

Anyone have any suggestions? Can i try anything? Being that it is in the cloud, would any of my logs help me to fix the issue? I am really grasping at straws here.

One small update…

Anything new that uploads is working perfectly. The only items that aren’t showing is anything uploaded prior to 2 days ago.

Have you checked your DB directly to see if the files are still there? The file naming is a little cryptic so it might be hard to tell but if you play it you might be able to tell what show it’s from and then check if that show is blank in PMS.

I have decided to just remove everything from the cloud sync. Delete the folder from dropbox and start over. I have had this issue before and resolve cloud sync issues seems like a mystery =(

Hooked my drop box with a movie to my Plex Cloud Sync account but it doesn’t show up under Cloud even after I authorized drop box to allow Plex Cloud access.

I tried delinking and destroying Plex folder in DropBox and relinked but still don’t see anything come up.

You haven’t created a library yet. You still need to define libraries before Plex will index your files.
