DS-920+, Plex, transcoder won't start

Player Version#: 1.42.2.10156
Any media that requires transcoding will not play now. They used to play fine using hardware acceleration. Recently updated to DSM 7.3.2. Attempted to reinstall Plex on the DS-920+ without success. Deleted all files in the CODEC folder and restarted Plex. Still no luck. Hopefully someone can help me out as I’m stuck on this one. (subtitles are turned off)

Try going to your server settings and select Extras and then uncheck all boxes. I just started getting this exact same error with a very different setup than you but that was the solution. Something changed since Plex hasn’t been playing any trailers for I can’t remember how long and then as soon as it started again I got this exact error.
