I am using a Synology NAS DS212J and have actually PLesk Media Server 0.9.12.3.1173 installed.
According to the web page the latest version should be 0.9.12.11.1406.
If I am not wrong my Synology has a Marvell 88F6281 processor, means Armv5TE.
There is a link on the download page for ARM processors.
Now I got the questions:
is the latest version running on my system (because I get no update via DSM)
which version do I have to download, I think the “ARM” only version
My hair is turning grey here. I do all the things you say but the NAS still install the old version.
Nothing works anymore. I uninstalled everything but PMS still remembers my folders. I can´t delete folder, can´t update them. The feeling right now is to go back to plug in the MBP to the TV and PLEX away from there.
Oh sorry! I thought that the headline gave it away DS212J is the one.
The NAS is using the right version now.
I still have problems with the PMS on the Macbook Pro 2010 13". I can´t delete folders or import stuff.
All worked fine before Mavericks. I now use El Capitan and the router settings are the same. The NAS has no troubles (according to itself)
The only thing I haven´t tried is to delete Plex user.
Thanks for answering - and if you do come up with more ideas please don´t hesitate to comment further.
