DS916+ and the latest PLEX = runaway transcoding = high CPU?

Server Version#: 1.13.5.5332
Player Version#: Chrome 3.57.1 (or any client)

After upgrading to the latest version. I noticed the fan was louder on my NAS. So I checked the CPU and it was between 95-98%.

I checked the Task Manager and it showed that PLEX Transcoding process was driving the CPU. Odd, since this has not happened before. And even odder was that I wasn’t watching any movie. And even if I was, it is always on my local network only via Direct-Play or Direct-Stream.

I checked Settings -> Status -> Conversion and there was nothing.

This started with the most recent version of PLEX.

Any ideas?

Please obtain and post the xml of the file(s) which cause this and also share what they are being played including player settings

Pay particular attention to subtitles as subtitles cannot be processed in hardware
