hi I have the Synology DS1821+ and following the upgrade process documented.
I have kicked off the DSM7 upgrade part and it has now been stuck on Step 2/2 Updating Advanced Media Extensions… (10/20) for around an hour.
There no disk activity, just the odd noise every so often.
I do have a lot of media, probably 5000 items on plex in total.
Is it going to take a long time or is it stuck… when should I dare to reboot?
I have tried logging into another web-browser and it goes to ‘Getting Ready’ then redirects back to the same page.
Thanks for any advice.
All sorted, took about 90mins then it came up to say I could login in while the packages continued to update.
