DSM 7 files not available

I recently updated to Version 1.24.2.4973 on DSM 7 and now I see a new PlexMediaServer share in my list of shared folders. I had previously read that the Plex share was no longer needed so I removed it. Can I remove this new PlexMediaServer shared folder or has something changed and now a dedicated shared folder is required in DSM 7?

Linux is exacting, hence so are my words

1. The DSM Plex share is obsolete once migration is complete.
2. The NEW PlexMediaServer shared folder is what I have been able to create for us.
